The Last Salvage Squad

Of the weapons available my favorite by far is the katana - it is fun to use for up close cutting as well as ranged charge slashes!

Game starts off simple leaving me worried about its depth in gameplay engagement, ends up beating my expectations for a game of simple graphics.

You'll need to beat the game to start NG+ to unlock the true ending which is worth it since it elevates your use of tactics and weapon usage.

The art style sticks to this red hue for everything and it gives the game a distinct personality, the sound trick kicks ass and ramps up at the right time in battle.

I know very little about "boomer shooters" in general but having played a few in the past and getting in very difficult parts of the game, I played this on normal difficulty and it felt perfectly balanced 95% of the time.

Such as the little bit of being able to see your character is great (all the characters being Kyute helps make this one of my fav features) and the soundtrack and gun play too comes together for an addicting replay and it can just make you melt into the game and the world even if small and level based.
