Because the mechanics work well, the atmosphere is there, and the game continues to pleasantly surprise.

The dark atmosphere created by the art style, character design, and limited dialogue along with the thought-provoking ending make this game more than worth it, in my eyes.

I think around the $5 price point it's a fine experience for say 10 to 15 hours if you like clicker/idler games and the overall art style/vibe (which ties in more with the small point and click adventure portion).

You uncover secrets, and it respects your ability to reason out certain sequences (while giving you the grace of jotting down codes so you're not arbitrarily backtracking or whipping out the pen and paper), all the while the absolute dreadful quiet of the OST accompanies your way forward.

Really great atmosphere, maybe felt a little short, i did finish it across the span of two days but thats more of testament to how engaging and fun it is, the puzzles are really well made, clever, and intuitive without feeling too easy, i definitely think its a worthy purchase for the very reasonable price, highly recommend
