What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The main progression was pretty good and had a great final boss fight, but only took about 12 hours.
Combat begins with understandable weapons such as swords and crossbows but gradually becomes considerably stranger.
This solves a lot of the inventory management issues that have always plagued me in another very popular block game.
The lighting, too, is beautiful and varied with multicolor light sources that just look sick, even when you're using regular torches.
Some things in this game were made easier and more fun (no hunger, no item condition to watch out for), and other things were made more challenging and rewarding to get (beds only available through trades with a builder NPC).
Looking forward to play again and recommend to new friends to join!
