What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
YKMET: Strade, developed and published by Gatobob, is a visual novel that commits fully to a dark, unsettling narrative and rarely deviates from that tone.
The art style is bold and expressive, with strong outlines and exaggerated features that emphasize emotional states and key moments.
The art, UI/effects, gameplay, and music all show off Gatobob's growth as an artist, and I'll continue to follow any and all future games released as they can only go up from here.
Progression is tied closely to exploration of the narrative rather than traditional gameplay systems.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No themes split opinion in this sample.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and is not shown.
