What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Namely removing codes from battle cards, general zones not being gigantic labyrinths, very few usages of "wander around every single zone you have access to hoping you stumble upon the 20 plot coupons scattered everywhere" that BN used way too much, and a much smoother plot flow that contains a fair bit less busywork.
The remixed soundtrack is amazing and there are sometimes I just stop to listen to the music.

Speaking of Networking the netplay is great, I've had plenty of matches with no discernable lag and It's wonderful to have rental decks that allow players to get their foot in the door for PvP, and the matchmaking has taken a page from the Capcom Fighting Collection games to good results.
While the collection uses updated graphics and a remastered sountrack, you can swap everything back to the originals easily.
Right off the bat the presentation is stellar, the wrapper plays a huge part in developing the soul of a compilation release and Star Force Legacy Collection comes out swinging with a gorgeous title screen and a UI that builds on everything the Battle Network Legacy Collection did prior, There are now more characters to greet you on the main menu and fully modeled backgrounds are featured as well!
