Aside from the difficulty, the game really does feel like an early access so far, and I would be happy to give a positive review if there was more gameplay.
overall, a really fun tower defense game that makes you think about each move more carefully than most tower defense games. it was hard at first but once you figure out an optimal strategy, the game becomes relatively easy, even on normal mode, but it's still a challenge at times which i like. however, i feel like with the lack of art and story, this series doesn't capture the sushi cat branding very well. i feel like with this game, the art style doesn't remotely compare to older sushi cat with the refined lines and clean artwork. the 3d models are visually appealing but the other art doesn't really scream "sushi cat" to me and it feels too polished. i hope that more story elements become apparent and that when you get to certain checkpoint waves, you get to see more story elements with that classic sushi cat style. it would be nice to see a legacy mode toggle for the old and new art if that were a feature!

Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
