What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
I was expecting this game to either just be a super weird game with dream like gameplay which it kinda is or it would include a horror aspect which I was super hyped for like some sort of super liminal minecraft thing and my theory of there being a horror aspect of this game was further encouraged by there being these guys in the wheat fields but they are just scarecrows , crafting is the most confusing thing in the world Ik there is the Tome to put it in but I just wanted to cook meat and I get a hate wand?
This feature is arguably one of their best-executed ideas: The animations and visuals are obscure, aligning with surreality of the game perfectly; however, how it functions is easily understandable, allowing players to fully grasp how it works after 10–15 minutes of playing.
All I want now is probably a way to play multiplayer and it'd be perfect.
I love the visuals and aesthetics of the game, the monster designs and the audio design are so good, too.
Runs great on steam deck.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
