Cast n Chill

Looking forward to more DLCs/Maps, especially the upcoming East DLC, because I truly do love this game. 30 hours was enough to get all of the achievements and probably could have done it faster but was just enjoying the gameplay.

Amazing pixel art with every single object meticulously detailed to fit the environment, fantastic lighting and shading, cascading landscapes in a layered 2D format creating the illusion of depth, and animations for every little critter and cranny in over a dozen unique areas.

Played this both on the PC and steam deck and runs magically on both.

The fishing system itself feels great, and there are options for whether or not you want to be able to see under the water or have your pet alert to the big boi fish which makes for awesome adjustable difficulty/enhanced blind exploration if you're into that.

I was very fond of the soundtrack Cast n Chill had to offer, the somber banjo pieces really make you feel like you're out in the woods with nothing else but your rod, boat, and furry companion.

The split screen could use some work, otherwise everything else is great.
