What players think
The recurring themes across 96 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Great art style and atmosphere, but not so great substance:
I think there's probably a bit more meat on the bones in terms of going back and unlocking everything, and I do think the dev could definitely add more content, but having completed the game, I find the unskippable cutscenes even worse because the story itself isn't some sort of revelation that needs to be told; it is, at best, there just in service of the gameplay, and the game is actually strong enough to exist without the story, which contains nothing interesting or surprising.
I love the music, visuals, and the voice work is excellent.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
