I absolutely love the original King's Quest series.
Art style is very fun.
I have to say I was really impressed by their voice acting in this game.
In terms of gameplay it is VERY clear that this was designed to be played on a console system not on a PC.
The story is complex enough, some of the jokes are really funny, puzzles are all logical so far and never too difficult (in the first episode).
then, instead of ending on a cliffhanger like I expected, the game transferred immediately over to another (entirely original) King's Quest story, with an open world, relevant backtracking, an inventory with items you can use (often in useless ways and with funny narrator reactions,) and loads of new characters and original jokes.
