The adventure mode has a fair bit of replayability, too, because for each playthrough you will see only about a tenth of the available "levels" as you navigate between shipwrecks on your way across the sea.

Beneath its cartoonish visuals and straightforward premise lies a satisfying loop that blends hand-eye coordination, reflexes, and accuracy into something much more engaging than a standard typing lesson.

It's a small thing, but I particularly enjoy the feature that, when you start the game, it tests your typing speed by having you type the game's setting and story details...so you learn about the game's premise while determining your difficulty level.

Firing it up instantly triggers an overwhelming wave of nostalgia, from the iconic retro sound effects to the low-budget, charming underwater aesthetic.
