The gameplay mechanics, when they work and everything goes well, are super fun.

First, the narrative elements are mostly well done, and add an extra layer to the game which is captivating.

The art style is fantastic, even if im not a religiously knowledgeable person and seeing this Constantine-inspired deckbuilder, the thematic trappings are still quite neat.

It works like Slay the Spire in regards to progression in the overworld and general deck building mechanics, but the actual combat is wholly unique.

Music and soundtrack complements the style well but the main character's narration during the battles themselves can feel repetitive and might grate on your ears.
