Granted, my gameplay in Zero/ZX isn't really that different; I just spam Charge Shot and/or special weapons, and dodge projectiles.
The graphics are definitely the most outstanding part of the game.
Although the game strongly encourages using a controller to play it as it feels designed that way, I actually found it quite easy using the keyboard, so I personally believe it is just as intuitive as playing with a controller.
