Reason being a combination of excellent platforming, level design, exploration and narrative all within a bite sized package that doesn't overstay its welcome.
Fun gameplay mechanics, fair difficulty and some underused setting / plot ideas make this very well worth the time investment.
Makes sense though as it's a one dev project for the most part if i'm not mistaken, so the sound design & music were also very indie.
Visually, the game adopts a restrained pixel art style that prioritizes mood over detail.
