The main draw of the game, however, isn’t it’s exploration but its zany combat and host of boss fights that range from complete pushovers to massive, multi-phased beasts that will take more than a few tries to put down.

The overall gameplay feels very smooth and responsive, and I've only experienced a frame stutter two or three times, which was honestly probably brought on by running the game at the absolute highest settings it offered me.

The sheer absurdity of seeing dinosaurs fighting with oversized weapons was hilarious, the music and visuals carried the raw aura and hype of the moments.

But if you just want to watch a Spinosaurus with a flaming greatsword do a back flip over a diplodocus while a sick heavy metal soundtrack blares from your speakers, then you’ll want to give this one a try

I don't usually play games like this on keyboard and mouse since I'm primarily a controller player, but I found it incredibly easy to pick up.
