What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
There's the campaign mode with 5 days to complete, arcade mode, where you play one day for points, Nightmare mode, which is a scarier and harder version of the game with one day to complete, Custom mode, in which you can make your own custom tennants and then play a day with them and Card mode, which is the creator's other game, "Unlikely" integrated into the game.
The gameplay is very reminiscent of Papers, Please!
The art style and atmosphere also deserve a lot of credit.
Some players may miss these deeper personality quirks, but the tradeoff is a sleeker, more intuitive interface that makes the gameplay loop more accessible to a wider audience.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 4 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
