The sad thing is that the game is actually polished - there are no bugs, no sudden difficulty curve swerves, the enemies are placed thoughtfully, there is some quality-of-life here and there (e.g. when you defeat a boss, you don't have to backtrack - you just get teleported back to the dungeon entrance).
