Gameplay
Players who bring up Gameplay mostly praise it.
Built around the concept of surviving on a mysterious island after a disastrous voyage, the game embraces an old-school design philosophy focused on exploration, discovery, and gradual progression rather than cinematic storytelling or large-scale open-world complexity.

Shipwreck embraces a colorful pixel-art style heavily inspired by classic portable gaming adventures from earlier generations.

Audio
Players who bring up Audio mostly praise it.
Controls for "Shipwreck" are pretty responsive and intuitive, and I dig some of the soundtrack.

Controls
Players who bring up Controls mostly praise it.
Cutesy, well drawn pixel graphics hampered by obvious lack of controller support (I didn't see any controller options in the option menu), lack of world map (Zelda: A Link To The Past (SNES) had it in 1991), lack of wind-up dash at the start of the game (once again 1991) despite HUGE, EMPTY map.
