You're left to just sit around and wait for upgrades to your tables and menu while you earn money, with the only active thing you can ever do being manually restocking (A fruitless effort once you get busy enough) and fishing, which is also pointless other than some outdoor decorations.
Lakeside bar is a cute pixel graphics based idle management game akin to "Rusty's Retirement" that offers more interactivity compared to some other idlers, which is it's strength & weakness.
Also super adorable design made, cozy vibes, cute pixel characters, chill atmosphere feels like a hug in a 8-bit.
