What players think
The recurring themes across 102 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Drawing chilling inspiration from real-world horrors—this time the infamous Charles Manson family—the story taps into a raw, uncomfortable kind of fear that feels disturbingly grounded.
The atmosphere and sound design is great, it perfectly builds tension and suspense with some solid jumpscares (a couple predictable ones aswell) some voice acting that is alright and some okay writing.
The graphical upgrades are also impressive—lighting, environmental details, and visual effects work together to create an atmosphere that feels oppressive, eerie, and at times, suffocating.
The sound design deserves special mention as well; every faint whisper, creaking floorboard, or rustle in the dark makes you pause, listen, and question what’s real.
