Glorkian Warrior: The Trials Of Glork

It is a game that clearly understands the appeal of old-school high-score chasing, focusing on tight, repeatable gameplay loops rather than complex systems or narrative depth.

Visually, Glorkian Warrior stands out through its collaboration with cartoonist James Kochalka, whose distinctive art style defines the entire experience.

I honestly wasn't into the "Trying too hard to be funny" type of comedy I expected from the save devs as Potatoman and Dino Run, but upon play I becamed charmed by its handrawn appearance, silly cutscenes between game sessions, and cute sound effects including children announcing your weapon pickups - thankfully, it wasn't obnoxious at all.

There is a decent variety of weapons, some standard (such as a triple laser) and some goofy (such as tennis balls) but only half of them really stand out as especially useful - though anything is better than the default pea-shooter.

This is a mobile port, but PC version plays much better with gamepad/keyboard and 60 FPS added via patch.
