great. felt torn at the ending because even without speaking a word the game design still was compelling and made you care about the characters and creatures (or at least i did). game design?

While the art is beautiful and the sound design nice, I found the platforming oddly difficult due to needing well-timed jumps, perfectly placed props, as well as the unintuitive checkpoint placement (such as having to walk back to previous rooms to pick up light again on death).
