What players think
The recurring themes across 252 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
There isn't game progression, but you don't need it in Quintet: the multiplayer cooperative shouting is fun enough.
The free version (which, don't worry, is still a full game) can be a bit lacking in things to do, as people doing the actual missions are scarce and, while fun, there's not much to do in Open Space when there isn't alot of people, but that's why you need to get this game. it is not only an incredibly fun co-op spaceship simulator, it's a fun FREE-TO-PLAY MMO WITH NO MICROTRANSACTIONS, something fairly rare to see on steam these days, that needs all the people it can get.
- team based gameplay that can be fun with using VOIP or at LAN parties
Also, make sure the helmsman isn't an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who ignores the objective that CLEARLY shows up on the HUD, and just does his own ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 5 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
