Despite the flaws this is sill a fun game Just needing some patches as I love the atmosphere, art style and the fundamental gameplay and the build variety.
The story, while having a lot of good structure, sometimes misses due to singular focuses and a lack of levity: Dark stories need some moments to recover to make the next moment hit, even if you're going ultra-grim.
There's a lot to take in, and when the game is hitting on all cylinders, you have an RPG that can be very interesting in build/combat interactions while providing a challenge.
Little touches to UI and sound design can make decisions and battle effects stick rather nicely.
Game is an improvement mechanically from the first game but still struggles with being repetitive.
