Narrative, pacing, immersion: The story is pretty hard-hitting in a way that really builds your appreciation for the main character and other characters, without going overboard.
First of, lets get the obvious out of the way, I personally am not a fan of these massive pumpkins they are carrying around, the art style itself is rather nice, any visuals EXCEPT the rpgmaker over-world, this one could've needed a bit more work.
There is a LOT of high quality H CG's in this game with partial voice acting and good sound effects and well written descriptions.
