What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
It's immediately clear where this game’s priorities lie: it was designed and optimized almost exclusively for the standalone Meta Quest headsets, and the PC version suffers for it in almost every measurable way.
Fist fighting feels so much worse, weapons are so much bendier and dont move as smooth, its clearly just not tracking as fast and accurate- the first game arguably has a difficulty issue like this one from a fundamental level that its a bit too easy IMO, but most VR games you kinda have to play along to fully enjoy it, just controller wiggling at them isnt that fun for example, but when the game itself will sometimes lag a tiny bit then instantly blow up a guy like that scene from the watchmen because your laggy ass weapon head jumped into their body and bounced about might be funny once or twice but when it keeps happening its not- also before anyone goes "well thats just your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pc" im well above recommended specs, I dont care about slight hitches as long as it doesnt affect gameplay
The visuals don't seem to provide anything noticeably better or new.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 5 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
