The voice acting is pretty bad, making it hard to push through, but as you play through the game, there is less dialogue making it easier to stomach the farther you get in the game.
The game is fully voiced, and whilst the voice acting isn't going to win any awards, it is competent enough to keep the story moving forward without breaking the immersion.
Considering this is a slightly older adventure game that's been polished up a bit by the original (small) company, it holds up pretty well and you can really see the difference in graphics quality when you place the two versions side-by-side.
The story is decent, and does a good job of connecting you to the character that you pay as, but it is the gameplay that makes this game worth playing.
This made me feel more like the character that was portrayed rather than some 3rd party player, thus why it may of added to the difficulty at times, but this also help set a stronger atmosphere.
