Built using RPG Maker, it embraces a familiar structure of turn-based combat, linear progression, and dialogue-heavy storytelling, clearly positioning itself as a nostalgic experience for players who appreciate the simplicity and pacing of older RPGs.
If that is the case, it didn't hamper my experience, but it may remove any soul the game might have for people who have played other games with the same graphics.
