Combat feels right for the genre - closing with an enemy fleet is a fencing match of outgoing missiles and countermeasures before broadsides and spinal mounts start blazing.

The campaign has been fun too - if you've read any Honor Harrington or Jack Geary you're not going to be _too_ surprised by anything you run into in the plot, but it's presented serviceably and the characters are likeable.
