TLDR highly recommended classic-modern turn based JRPG with great writing, characters, cutscenes, and combat system.
Everything feels really smooth and gameplay is well though out, including a scaling EXP system so you don't need to grind monsters in order to level up and defeat certain bosses along the story.
To start, the graphics of this game are absolutely stunning.
The most important thing is that I never get tired of it, and I liked listening to the game soundtrack playlist even outside the game.
Performance wise its mostly good and can hold 60 on a steam deck but randomly the fps would tank to 15 even on my main pc and I would have to restart for it to go back to normal, this was probably a bug.
It's entertaining and paced well enough to put the controller down, especially scenes with voice acting - like a convincingly high quality coming-of-age fantasy adventure anime.
