What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The writing is wonderfully enjoyable --- and there's A LOT of it, like just the amount of unique character interactions, between each other, or with the MC, or about the surroundings, it's an immense amount of content.
I understand some people might be angered that they can’t experience everything in one playthrough, but it adds endless randomness and tons of replayability.
It’s all exquisitely done, and the soundtrack, sound design and general atmosphere are some of the best I’ve ever experienced.
The art style is distinct and awesome.
I highly recommend downloading one of the community's controller layout if you a have a steam deck.
There was one other thing I was concerned about: I am fairly new to this genre and am used to playing on a controller.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
