Look Outside

The game, especially on your first playthrough, will constantly surprise you, with interesting mechanics, very elaborate easter eggs, hidden areas, characters, bosses and hidden lore galore.

The game also feels, at first, highly replayable, due to this sheer vastness and narrative depth and layers, which are only piled upon with every major update.

It’s all exquisitely done, and the soundtrack, sound design and general atmosphere are some of the best I’ve ever experienced.

The combat itself is nothing super unique, but it serves the game's artstyle incredibly well and can vary enough with your weapon and party compositions that not every battle is just 'hit it with your basic attack until it dies', with some outside the box solutions for certain encounters as well.

Art style is crazy good, enemy designs are excellent, music is great, battles (on survival difficulty) feel challenging but fair, and it's very obvious when you’re out of your element in a fight; build potential is great also.

The best part is the companions like omg who ever designed these you are like the god of character design, in a RPG like look outside with a big selection of 18 (19 if you count sam) you would think some would fall flat personality wise but NO!
