The characters and the overarching story are a delight, and if you enjoyed Little Goody Two Shoes, I can't imagine not enjoying Hell Maiden, even more so if you're an enthusiast of The Divine Comedy and the poetry/literary figures of Dante's era in general.

Every run is rewarding, and past initial steep difficulty wall, where you learn the mechanics, researching card combinations and dashing for bonuses around forces one to move instead of camping - something that became preferred meta (AFK weapons) in other games in this genre.
