I'd recommend the Developer consider not having that be the deciding factor in terms of the LI paths; maybe just affect dialogue, etc. and / or have it just be a variable in the equation and give the player actual action / dialogue choices to push for a relationship where they want which is far more realistic - an example would be an altruistic route where the player really likes Samara - no reason the same physical guy who just happens to make kind choices about people couldn't convince a woman with a more impulsive / aggressive / dominant personality to date them, etc.
