Finished Outlaws Remastered, Recommended By Gman, NightDive Have been Killing it with the Remasters, Tapping the picture button the xbox button really shows how much they upscaled the visuals and is a pleasant treat to the eyes
I actually played it through twice in a row (once for story and once for all the secrets) because I was having so much fun.
The Optimization is great where I can run at 160 FPS on my 4060
- Clint Bajakian's superb soundtrack (which is worth listening to on its own)
The Level design for the Story missions are pretty solid all around except for the maze structures in Mission 5 with the Water Canals, There is a major issue when it comes to traversal because there are a lot of moments in the game where I’m baffled to how am I supposed to progress like the historical mission of the Ice Caves where I meant to use a shovel to dig on the ice, The Villa level of getting a bucket of water for the well at the start, Mission 9 where you step on a tile to open the bookcase, getting crowbars to get through stuck doors, Hidden doors, and a lot other moments where the game feels cryptic in its progression and it poorly communicates to the player that you need to do these certain things, you can get sheriff badges which serve to be power ups but the game doesn’t tell you what a specifically does
I never got to play multiplayer in the original game so I'm sure I will have some fun trying that out.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 4 sampled reviews and is not shown.
