If I would interpret what people meant by "Cozy JRPG", it means it's pretty freakin' slow and boring, no world ending plot/the chosen one type of thing going, a little slice of life.
I've now finished the game post patch and the loading times have indeed improved.
The game runs flawlessly and looks great for me without changing any settings or getting mods, played on both windows (SATA SSD) and steam deck (default internal storage).
You can change the music if you like as well to any of the old Atelier or Gust titles if that's your thing, though I still really enjoy Ryza's OST so I left mine the same.
