Shardlight

World looks great and story is good enough, but often you feel like you are rushing through it all, due to lack of challenges and things to do in those locations.

It has a well-written and very relatable protagonist, with excellent voice acting.

It has Wadjet Eye's trademark low-resolution-high-quality visuals, the game is beautiful in most scenes, often quite harrowingly.

With old-school pixel-art graphics, classic point & click gameplay, and high production values all around, Shardlight is an ambitious game from the studio behind the Blackwell mysteries, A Golden Wake, and many other acclaimed indie adventures released over the past ten years.

Great pixel graphics, great music and voice acting and puzzles at just the right level of difficulty - never had to seek out any hints but not all solutions were obvious either.

Cool atmosphere and decent character design are wasted on a pretty lackluster game.
