this game is an extremely polished beat em up experience, with unique characters, interesting combos, and roguelite mechanics to keep each run fresh.
Third is the progression, especially if you just want to play the game in max difficulty, it takes really long to upgrade something, and those upgrades are really a necessity, the best thing you can do is just play the game in easy and get as much coins as you can, and even like that it takes a while, btw some of those upgrades are completely useless.
For now the game is okay, I love the art style and the first four characters are really cool and fun to play, but not everything is good, the game has some problems or at least what I think are problems.
there is couch co-op and the game plays surprisingly nicely with remote play as well if you would like to play with others - the dev has talked about doing online co-op at some point, but likely not until closer to release.
Although personally would love that a multiplayer or open world mechanic were added but considering the type of genre and particular taste it might not be appealing to most players.
