On the bright side, the dialogue is well-done, and the bits of world-building are nicely handled.
The pixel-graphics have their charm, but there's nothing here that should demand such a large chunk of my PC's power.
From my play of it so far, not long since I spent like 3 hours trying to figure out why the game wasn't allowing me to "start a new game" and now I can't leave the first zone...so waiting for a patch to hotfix this big issue, the story is intriguing, character customization (open ended and no classes) is pretty neat.
Serpent in the Staglands has very nice pixel graphics, good music/sound effects, and fun puzzles, but suffers from too many inconsistencies for a thumbs up recommendation.
