The enemies are memorable with easily identifiable patterns, the gameplay loop while tricky to understand, creates an engaging balance of attack and defence requiring good reflexes, priority targeting and crowd control, especially after the difficulty spike of stage 5.
Despite finding the concept hilarious (especially the amen break as the menu sfx), There's a surprising amount of love for electronic music on display and the game is extremely competent in its simplicity.
