- In story mode you progress through a map, and collectible weapons are hidden (sometimes not very well) within the stages you play through.
It seems that having the benefit of a modern processor and GPU allows the overall speed of the given effects and the complexity of the graphics to be a significant improvement over past console games even if the developer here has nailed the Retro vibe.
You even have the opportunity to choose how retro you want to go, at least as far as the sound design goes.
