The mechanics are my kind of perfect - easy to learn and build upon, but difficult to master, with just a decent bit of jank here and there (which in all honesty, makes sense for an installment to a 20+ year old arcade series launching on PC).

I also LOVE to beep-boop-ing sound effects from the pieces after you drop one onto the board, something I pretty much do not see in any other modern Tetris game as of now.

I'm not refunding, cause at the very least controller binds are reasonable, so if I just go get up off my ass, I could play just fine. but for now, thumbs downn.

The visuals ranging from the background to the ladies you unlock in Konoha mode are splendid to look at, and arguably quite a visual palette cleanser in case Tetris Effect Connected is a bit too much for your eyes.
