What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Supposed to be the last but one episode of an awesome game-series, the story among Sam Fisher continues in a very uncommon way.
Instead of this game, you just as well can play "The Division" and "The Division 2"...similar gameplay, better story, missions etc., maybe this one was like a hidden "beta" for some approaches, that were used in these 2 games.
I think this game is worth it now for the £8.99 it's listed for but there's not really any replayability outside of Deniable Ops (which is a pretty good mode, and a good way to squeeze some extra hours out of Conviction) and the now non-functional co-op campaign, compared to prior titles which offered alternate routes and reasons to constantly replay them this is a bit of a letdown.
Native controller support is included, but you must enable it manually and fix the inverted axes with a community layout. 16:9 is the correct aspect ratio - 16:10 stretches the image slightly.
- halfway nice visuals on high details, referring to the age of the game;
Voice acting is still fantastic, with Micheal Ironside still giving all he got as Sam.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
