You have to be artistically talented enough to make music and assets, if the game has a story you have to be a good writer (and you may have to be a good writer even if it doesn't).
As I mentioned before if you played Hyper Light Drifter the graphics and style will feel quite similar.
The music is a great mix of synthwave and movie-style orchestration pieces, and surprisingly it has a really good vocal main theme.
I had to put the controller down from time to time so that I could rethink some of the puzzles (they can be challenging).
