this version is completely stable, maybe even moreso on linux than on windows. i have nothing to compare it to except the old ultimate collection, and i haven't had a single crash, pink soup, etc. mods just as easily as before too. don't be fooled by the steam page though, it does NOT have cloud save enabled (even though it says it does)
