this is the best sims game. for the price, this is a very good game. i didnt play this back in the day (my first sims game was "the sims 4"), and i have to admit, this game is a bit too complicated for me, but its charming, and i like it. the graphics still hold up, the attention to details is insane, and its hands down the best sims game. unfortunately, it often crashes, and it doesnt come with the ikea pack (bummer), but aside from that, this rocks. (plus its not an evident scam like the sims 4 and it's outrageous amount of dlc which should be free content)
Interestingly, it runs without issue on my Steam Deck.
Played for 10 hours and it runs so well on linux.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 4 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
