You can do normal races, minigames, a side quest like thing where you collect stamps, and even Piston Cup races once you get enough Trophy points.
- Gamepad mapping is maped with Numbers so "X" on your PS Controller is marked as "Button 1" and Triangle marked as "Button 4" so when you play the game and you have a mission to press Button 3 and 7 you're like what and what??
Solid gameplay with a great soundtrack, great graphics for its age, and even features the original voice cast including Owen Wilson as Lightning, Larry the Cable Guy as Mater, and even the late Paul Newman as Doc Hudson.
Despite all that: Absolutely recommended and listen to the Soundtrack is amazing - I mean just listen to this song:
The length of the game can be adjusted from the menu: if you want to go around of the Cars' world and play most of the story and optional missions, you can try the full experience, but if you just want to play the important objectives only, you can try the short version, which is pretty good in my opinion.
