It elevated the original game to such a tee, the graphics and customization are phenomenal, I find many of the characters soooo visually appealing!
STEAM DECK USERS: I intend on adding to this review in the future (beyond my very very early gameplay impressions below), once the devs are able to release the controller support patch that I see they’ve promised in the discussions tab on Steam!
After playing for an hour of this game, it feels like I'm back home after going on a long quest on discovering myself and coming back to rekindle old friends by sharing our experiences and make new memories together.
The tutorial explains the simple mechanics via what appears to be full voice acting by Kitty Powers. :D The matchmaking and dates are not voice-acted, but use that Sims or ACNH “meep mah meep mah meep” style “voice.”
