What players think
The recurring themes across 24 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Cafe DReAMLAND starts off as a nice cozy game, a nice twist on Lovecraftian horror which I am not familiar with at all, about making customers drinks based on their current situation in life, drinks that help them through the day or through tough situations, and after a while, it evolves into a deep story about friendship, the consequence of actions, mental health, and how bullying affects oneself. with a single random RPG battle in the middle that threw me so off-guard but was such a nice part that I think the devs should do more of it.
Composed by ruha, the soundtrack has both chill cafe tunes and creepy dark sounds too.
The gameplay is pretty simple: you work at a cafe and you make customers drinks.
Finally the soundtrack and graphics are great.
