Sublevel Zero Redux

Another decidedly non-Descent-ish mechanic that Sublevel Zero sports is its crafting system.

Maybe one or two elements might not suit your fancy, but it's definitely a game that knows how to do CQB microgravity combat.

The setting is post-apocalyptic, but the art and graphics are all very pastel and cheery.

A saving-grace passive that is present in all ship chasses/classes and even works on hard difficulty.

I recommend using a gamepad (every important function maps to a modern PS/Xbox style gamepad), don't forget to check the map -- it often hints at a secret chest or path that you might've missed but your automap has scanned.

The in-game soundtrack is also dynamic and changes whenever you are in one of FOUR areas - industrial, lava cave, crystal cave, research - and if you're in a dogfight or not and how many enemies there are.
