I also find that the Albion islands tend to be too small to fully expand the gameplay beyond challenge; city-building is more of a frustration there than a joy, with the lowest tier of population always too low unless production is scattered widely across islands.
Overall i would recommend the game, gameplay feels satisfying, the graphics are nice, you can endlessly optimize your islands and there is tons to do (more things to come with the DLCs).
3) My 2025 PC with RTX4090 is heaving heavily and even with only one mid-sized island the game stutters and runs slower, game definitely needs some optimization.
So far the game runs very well and looks gorgeous, I have been playing singleplayer so far so I cannot comment on the Coop so far, but I will def try some of that with Anno friends down the road.
