1998: The Toll Keeper Story plays very similarly to games such as Paper, Please and Lil’ Guardsman, sitting comfortably somewhere between the two in terms of narrative, gameplay, and styling.

I just wish it had full voice acting, especially during the more dramatic scenes, since it would make those moments more immersive and easier to enjoy without having to read everything.
