The irony is that my negative criticism of the game comes from what the game does right, like the beast fights, the flies, the traps, and the overall atmosphere (music and visuals) that put the basic bricks of a great world to play in.

Combat in particular is a highlight point for the game, it feels brutal and desperate, with limited resources and aggressive enemies.

The atmosphere: soundtrack and graphical representation of the environment (through a main black level and several coloured backgrounds) are fused together delivering an immersive and lonesome experience.

However, from a narrative standpoint, the difficulty makes perfect sense, the main character being a tiny creature fighting things much deadlier than itself.

Each level adds something new and fun to play; I did think that the learning curve was a little too steep, but at the same time I haven't gotten stuck on any one level for more than 10 or 15 minutes.

The music and character design is original and seems to push more towards a primitive aspect where problem solving can be solved with basic cleverness, aggression, or flight.
